Founder and Managing Director

Leadership, passion and delivery are Peter's trademarks. These have their genesis from when Peter was an Officer in the Australian Army early on in his career. Peter's talents for planning and his organisational abilities saw him selected to study project management in the UK at the prestigious Royal Military College of Science. This was followed by a number of postings on high profile Defence projects back in Australia.

Peter continued his passion for project management when he transitioned to civilian life as a client-side project manager/director. Some three decades later and Peter has completed numerous projects as diverse as, planning and developing housing estates from greenfield sites, to delivering complex digital, hospital redevelopments, and managing rural and remote housing programs. Over the years, Peter has finely tuned his skills in C3 (Command, Control and Communications) so that he has a unique ability to break down complex projects into simple work packages to achieve practical solutions and excellent outcomes.

Peter saw a niche in the market and founded Quantum PI. Quantum PI specialises in medium size projects from construction to renovation, investigation, inspection and reporting. Quantum PI specifically caters to the body corporate, facilities management, government and corporate sectors. With a client-side focus, Peter ensures that the project outcomes are delivered to the client specifications and requirements, every time.

Hartley Projects

Our Construction Manager, Ashton Smith, has over 15 years experience as a hands-on Project Manager, Estimator, and Contract Administrator, specialising in residential and commercial projects from renovations to new builds.

As a licensed builder, Ashton’s wealth of knowledge and long-term industry relationships with trades and suppliers means he can be relied on to deliver each of our building or renovation projects to the highest standard, on-budget, and in the best interests of our client.

His qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Quantity Surveying), Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management), Diploma of Project Management, and Open Builders Licence (QBCC 15353967).

Helios Design and Construct

Our designer, Kath Sheehan, has a longstanding passion and skill for interior design, renovating, and styling, and a track record of successfully delivered projects.

Kath works closely with each of our clients to understand their needs and objectives, and produces design concepts and outcomes that create an sense of warmth, ease, and belonging. Her goal is to create aesthetically pleasing, functional spaces that are thoughtfully and logically designed with our clients’ needs, wants, and budget at the forefront.

Kath brings a high level of professionalism to every project, with over 10 years’ experience in the marketing, events, and communications industry, and a Bachelor of Business Management degree.
